Precision Machining offers both Wire EDM and Die Sinking EDM machining services.
Due to their unsurpassed reputation in the industry, we only use Swiss-made, Charmilles EDM equipment. All of our EDM
machines are equipped with System 3R tooling systems.
Our wire EDM equipment is factory rated to hold tolerances of +/- 0.000050 (50
millionths) of an inch, and we routinely work to +/- 0.0001 inch tolerances in hardened tool steel and carbide parts.
We also have experience wire cutting other materials including titanium, copper, and aluminum.
We also have 4-axis capability with the wire machines and the ability to cut
tapers and "twisted" profiles. We also have the capability to work directly from CAD files of almost any format.
